I'm having some great deal of trouble trying to obtaining a credit card, but that's okay. As soon as I get my little credit report, I'll sign up for a secured credit card with orchard bank. So far, that was the best deal I could find. I couldn't even sign up for a rewards card or anything like that. wth?

For Yesterday » (Friday, July 13, 2007 // 11:01 a.m.)
Yesterday was something else...

While I was at work, I cash people out as usual when all of a sudden the lady I just finished ringing out collapsed out of nowhere. The man behind her asked me to call the ambulance, but at the time I didn't think it was that serious. He said so himself that she had fell, so I imagined that she had just tripped and didn't feel like getting up. So I put the money in and walked to the manager to ask if she could call the ambulance. And so she did. What's interesting is that, the ambulance took a while to get to rite aid considering they're a block away.

Anyway, the niece that she was with stood there for a while. I wouldn't blame her, I would be shocked too, but they needed to know what kind of condition she was in or any medication she needed. So yeah, turns out she had to have a heart transplant and that what could have been happening was a heart attack. Poor lady. Watching what they did to her made me a bit sick to the stomach so I just turned away behind the counter. *sigh* I hope she made it. rumor says she didn't...

oh dis » (Friday, July 6, 2007 // 01:17 p.m.)
A lot has happened since I last updated. I don't know where to begin. I'll start off by complaining about a customer yesterday. It was a little funny...

Anyway, there was this lady that grabbed a bottle from the store that had a straw right through it and is covered and asked me if it was a water bottle. It was such a stupid question I had to ask her to repeat her question like 5 times. I said that she could put water in it if she wants to, and she just kept asking to make sure. So, I bugged the clerk next to me, Alesia, and she also said the same thing... But then she wanted one of the officials to tell her it's a water bottle, so I bugged one of the managers, and they also said the same thing, and that you can put multiple things in there. I wish I could be sarcastic at work... Anyway, so she said it was okay. I rung up two of them, because that's how many she had. It rung up to about 9 dollars. She said she didn't have enough and just to void it. I thought, alright... Then she came back and just said to ring them up separately. Okay, so I rung up one of them, and it went to about 4 something. She had a five dollar bill in her hand and said, "Wow, I guess I can't afford both of them." Yeah, I thought that was established already! wth?

So later that day yesterday, some pregnant girl came and bought a toothbrush but didn't have enough for a toothbrush. I didn't think anything of it really. She said she didn't have enough on her so she said she had to go get some money in the car or something. One of the managers said that she's been watching the pregnant lady since she has a record of stealing things. I guess that makes sense... Going to the car and getting money and then never came back. haha.

Oh yeah, and another thing from yesterday. There was a creepy guy who pretty much just hung out at Rite Aid for more than 3 hours. I don't know for what reason. I guess to be creepy, I suppose? Anyway, first time he bugged me was to ask where Ponderosa was. I just pointed him to one of hte managers who was more familiar with the area than I was. The second time he bugged me was to ask about his job application progress, and I still pointed him to one of the managers. He gave me a weird look, but I didn't really think anything of it. So anyway, the next 6-7 times he bugged me was to ask for the time. I really wanted to tell him that he didn't have to bug me to just ask for the time and that there is a computer screen right in front of the desk that says the time, but I didn't feel like being an asshole. For most of the time though, he was sitting on a chair facing the photo section, which made me feel awkward, cause pretty much the whole time he was just staring.... I couldn't look at him in the face, it just made me feel very awkward. The funny thing is, I told my boyfriend about this, and he took had an experience with him. apparently, he does need a job. He actually stood outside of the window and just stared at Andrew for who knows how long, and had a silly grin on his face. lol.

Anyway, after work, we decided to go to fashion bug and finally use my 10 dollars off coupon. I found pants that are actually MY SIZE. This is amazing considering it's fashion bug who seem to specialize in having sizes for larger women. anyway, size one. Woot, found it. It was also on sale, so I quickly tried it on and then decided to purchase it. It went down to about 16.19, then i used my coupon and it went down to 6.19. haha. neat! So I saved 20.80. haha! yays! So yeah, by the time we got out it was pouring outside. I wore flipflops because I didn't think it was going to rain that hard. We didn't drive to the plaza, so... we waited a bit and quickly ran into kmart. We bought some bait, two scarves, and new shoes for andrew. Looks like the shoes doesn't fit him very well, but there weren't that many selections to begin with. Poor guy. What a walk...

I wish we had a car. I've been looking around. All the listings for crappy cars are for more than 1000 dollars. wth? I guess they really don't want to sell their cars for cheap. haha, I was thinking of just driving around with a license... This is very troublesome not having anybody to teach me how to drive. Blah!!!! blah!! Driver Don, hmmm...
